I recently enjoyed a stay at Mercure, and it was a blend of luxury and practicality. The spacious, soundproofed rooms featured flat-screen TVs and convenient amenities like air conditioning and an electric kettle. The housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything spotless, which I truly appreciated after long days exploring. While the bar/lounge area had a limited menu, it offered a welcoming place to unwind. I felt the welcome drink didn’t quite match the overall standards set by the staff, who were helpful but could improve in number during peak hours. Mercure provides good value for those looking for comfort in a quieter setting, making it an appealing option for active travelers like me, keen on a base for adventure in Brazil.
